![]() ![]() I made numerous calls and the Mint reps would always assure me that they would fix the issue and then they did nothing. It's a bit long and complicated but a duplicate payment was accidently made. What kind of billing issue did you have if there is no regular bill? ![]() Since they are a pre-pay service, I only give them money once a year. Under $2 a month unlimited talk (and maybe text) and a tiny bit of data but they got rid of it. Of course, if someone does not need this, Boost Mobile is a better deal. I actually have the middle plan of $35 a month, and it also comes with 2G data aboard (enough for me to check email) and Netflix. Personally, the most useful feature is free texting aboard. The regular 2G price is $15 and I assume tax and fees are extra. The Boost Mobile is great but only for first year. Backup plan is one can always go to the store to talk to someone. My personal experience is that they (AT&T, Tmobile) gave relatively good cs. Otherwise the Boost Mobile deal saves someone almost 50% The deal you reference is only good if you need unlimited data, most 55+ don't. ount-plans Only one of you needs to be 55+.ĭon't necessarily think the big 3 do a better job of customer service. For old geezers like myself, Tmobile gives a good deal. My personal experience is that I rather deal with one of the big threes. After your first 3 months, 5GB plan is billed for $45 every 3 months. Boost Mobile is actually a much better deal than Mint and taxes are mostly included in their advertised price.įor your first 3 months of service, 5GB plan for $5/mo. I switched to Boost Mobile which uses the AT&T network which has better coverage than T-Mobile used by Mint. The taxes and fees they add to their promo prices are very high. I have rarely dealt with such a dishonest company. They will actually lie and just string you along. They will talk nice like they will take care of your issue and then they do nothing. It may work great for others, until you run into any issues, especially simple billing issues. I used to be a fan of Mint Mobile even suggested it to others on this forum. ![]()
